Fall 2024 Program live-online-and-video support FOR Health, Healthy Aging & Stress & Tension Release

 


            FALL 2O24 RELAXATION YOGA SELF CARE PROGRAM

                             Sept 16th - Dec 5th, 2024                     



This Comprehensive Weekly Program has a Healthy Aging Focus supported by Live Online and Pre-recorded Video Content including Cardio Functional Strength Training, Pilates, Mindfulness, Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga & Somatic Practices. The goal is to get in the habit of doing a variety of Essential Movements every or most days of the week ALL from the Comfort & Privacy of Your Home and according to your schedule.  

Registration entitles you to receive ALL of the following every week of the 12-week session.


MONDAY 9-930 AM 30-minute Live Online Cardio Functional Strength Workout. If unable to attend this Live Online Class, you can do this important workout according to your schedule with the provided Pre-recorded class Videos that are available to view at any time.  

TUESDAY 7-8:15 PM  75-minute Live Online Relaxation Yoga Self Care Class This Live Class is recorded & the Replay is available Saturday, Sunday & Monday  

WEDNESDAY 8 AM  10-15minute Pre-Recorded Essential Morning Movement You can do this important Movement Practice according to your schedule with the provided Pre-recorded class Video that is available to view anytime                        "Getting into the habit of doing this short practice every morning is a game changer!"                                        "Even a little bit of practice is of the utmost importance"     

THURSDAY 7 PM 45-minute Pre-Recorded Yin Yoga & Somatic Movement Class                              "An extremely Cozy, Relaxing class - There are no Standing Postures"                            Class Video is available Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday

FRIDAY 8 AM 10-15 minute Pre-Recorded Pilates Mat Workout you can do this important workout according to your schedule with the provided Pre-recorded class Video that is available to view anytime.

  • SET UP Your Yoga Mat & Viewing Device in a Quiet Space with Relaxing Lighting to help elicit the Relaxation Response (for more comfort and warmth place yoga mat on a padded /carpeted surface)

  • PLACE NEARBY 1 or 2 Firm Blankets- Yoga Strap - Yoga Blocks & Bolster

  • Instead of a yoga strap - a long bathrobe belt or scarf is fine- the longer the better 

  • Instead of yoga blocks - use hardcover books

  • Instead of a bolster – use one or two blankets rolled up or firm cushions or pillows

  • TURN ON YOUR VIDEO IF AND WHEN YOU WANT TO...

  • EVERYONES MICROPHONE WILL BE MUTED when you join class TO REDUCE AMBIENT NOISE

  • CONNECT TO DEVICE AUDIO SO THAT YOU CAN HEAR THE TEACHER If you are unable to hear music or teacher upon entering, please look for the headset icon near the top of the screen (if on a PC) or "join audio" in the bottom left corner (smart devices)

  • MAKE SURE THAT YOUR DEVICE VOLUME IS ON AND SET IT TO YOUR VOLUME PREFERENCE

  • if using a phone turn ringer on mute

  • If you are new to zoom and having trouble getting Audio it's likely you are not connected to Device Audio.

  • YOU CAN CHOOSE EITHER- SPEAKER OR GALLERY VIEW

              LIABILITY WAIVER AGREEMENT I understand that RELAXATION YOGA SELF CARE PROGRAM CLASSES include physical movements, relaxation and relief of muscular tension and, as is the case with any physical activity, the risk of injury, even serious or disabling, is always present and cannot be entirely eliminated. If I experience any pain or discomfort, I will listen to my body and discontinue the activity. I will contact the teacher to discuss any experience of PAIN AND/OR ANY CONCERN. I assume full responsibility for any and all injury or damages, which may incur through participation. RELAXATION YOGA SELF CARE PROGRAM CLASSES are not substitutes for medical attention, examination, diagnosis or treatment. Physical exercise is not recommended under certain medical conditions. BY ACCEPTING THE INVITATION TO JOIN A LIVE ONLINE CLASS I am affirming that I am in good health and physical condition to participate in any classes. In addition, I will make the instructor aware of any medical conditions or physical limitations before class. If I am pregnant, become pregnant or I am post-natal or post-surgical, BY ACCEPTING THE INVITATION TO JOIN A LIVE ONLINE CLASS verifies that, IF NECESSARY, I have my physician's approval to participate. I also affirm that I alone am responsible to decide whether to participate in classes. All activity and participation is at my own risk. I hereby agree to irrevocably release and waive any claims that I have now, or may have hereafter against Rita M Lester and any Relaxation Yoga Self Care Program Instructors and Guest Instructors. I fully understand and agree to the above terms of this Liability Waiver Agreement and I agree voluntarily and recognize THAT MY ACCEPTANCE OF THE INVITATION TO JOIN A LIVE ONLINE CLASS serves as complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law.-
